“NEPTŪNAS” DEFEATED “LIETKABELIS” IN PANEVĖŽYS (2 VIDEOS, STATISTICS)

Klaipėda, “Neptūnas” on a road game defeated Panevėžys, “Lietkabelis” in the Lithuanian Basketball League (“Tete-a-Tete Casino - LKL”) with a result of 80:75 (13:13, 19:21, 20:15, and 21:18) and added the third victory into their account.

A more defensive basketball play happened in Panevėžys. For a long time a persistent fight boiled, but after halftime the players of Dainius Adomaitis were behind by one throw - 32:34.

It is gratifying that the players of “Neptūnas” found the antidote against the players of “Lietkabelis” in the third quarter and were able to tip the score in their favor - 49:42, and at one moment in the fourth quarter they were ahead by 10 points - 72:62.

Returning into the ranks of “Neptūnas” after a groin injury, the main player Daniel Ewing was effective – scored 15 points (4 assists). Another legionnaire, Jerai Grant scored the same amount of points. Martynas Mažeika added 14 points to the victory, Donatas Zavackas - 13, Arvydas Šikšnius - 12, Simas Galdikas - 5, Travis Bader - 3, Mindaugas Girdžiūnas - 2, and Arnas Butkevičius - 1 pt.

On October 28th (Wednesday), in the Eurocup tournament the players of “Neptūnas” are going to play against the team Volgograd, “Krasny Oktyabr” (Russia) in “Švyturio Arena“, Klaipėda at 19:00. This will be the third match for “Neptūnas” in the Eurocup.
