UAB “WESTERN SHIPYARD” GROUP OF COMPANIES HAS JOINED THE RANKS OF GENERAL SPONSORS OF “NEPTŪNAS”

UAB “Western shipyard” group of companies has returned to the ranks of general sponsors of Klaipeda basketball club. 

Few days ago the Mayor of Klaipeda Vytautas Grubliauskas and Rimantas Taraškevičius, the chairman of “Neptūnas” basketball club, gave thanks to the management of “Western shipyard” for their support to the representative basketball team of Klaipeda city during their meeting.

“It is wonderful news that the rank of sponsors of “Neptūnas” is expanding every year while the time-proven sponsor are becoming more confident in our team. Thanks to our sponsors’ support we managed to rise to the leadership ranks of LBL within two year: we won the bronze medals in 2013, in 2014 we became vice champions; in the 2014-2015 season we gained the resounding victories in the Old Continent's most prestigious basketball tournament: EuroLeague. By supporting “Neptūnas” the sponsors contribute not only to the sports but also to the promotion of Klaipeda as well as the whole Lithuania”, rejoiced Osvaldas Kurauskas, the head of “Neptūnas” club.

“Neptūnas” will also take part in the international championship in the coming season: they will represent Lithuania in the EuroCup Tournament.

Klaipeda “Neptūnas” is expanding the ranks of its sponsors: “Danės Dental Clinic” (Danės odontologijos klinika) has decided to contribute to the prosperity of representative basketball team of Klaipeda city.
“We live in Klaipeda, we are interested in basketball that is why it was a pleasure for us to join the ranks of “Neptūnas” sponsors. Last season in the Euroleague tournament “Neptūnas” has proven that they can defense properly and beat even the grandees of European basketball. I think that “Neptūnas” will achieve historic victories in the future”, said Alvydas Vaičiūnas, the director of “Danės Dental Clinic“.
According to Osvaldas Kurauskas, the director of “Neptūnas” club, it is a pleasure that the number of sponsors is increasing.

“Entrepreneurs and corporate executives of Klaipeda trust our team and believe in it. We, in turn, will do our best to not disappoint them”, O. Kurauskas said.

Martynas Mažeika, the captain of the “Neptūnas” team, was the first one who tried out “Danės Dental Clinic”. He had his teeth done in this place.

THE PLAYERS OF “NEPTŪNAS” WILL TRAVEL WITH NEW BMW CARS

Dainius Adomaitis, the head coach of “Neptūnas” club, administrative workers and basketball players will be sitting behind the wheels of the new BMW cars in the coming season.
On Thursday the director of “Neptūnas” club Osvaldas Kurauskas signed the Cooperation Agreement with an authorized representative of BMW and MINI in Lithuania “Krasta Auto”. “Krasta Auto” has become the main sponsor of “Neptūnas”.

“We are glad to become a part of the wide rank of sponsors of “Neptūnas”, said Algimantas Stanislauskas, the head of Klaipeda Department of “Krasta Auto”.

When asked by the journalists if “Neptūnas” goes overboard since they will have the most reliable and prestigious BMW cars while the basketball players of Kaunas “Žalgiris” ride “Renault” cars and the representatives of Vilnius “Lietuvos rytas” sit behind the wheels of “Skoda” cars, A. Stanislauskas replied: “We are creating the future together and are hoping that we will help “Neptūnas” to become the best team in Lithuania”.

“Neptūnas” representatives were given eight BMW cars.

Having tried the BMW car on Thursday the coach of “Neptūnas” D. Adomaitis was glad that he can now enjoy a real comfort and travel safely.
“It is an exclusive and truly presentable car. I am glad that I can drive a BMW automobile”, the coach stated.
