THE THIRD LEGIONNAIRE OF “NEPTŪNAS“ ARRIVED TO KLAIPĖDA

On Wednesday, the American player Travis Bader arrived in “Neptūnas” Klaipeda. This 24yo, 196cm tall shooting guard should integrate into the exercises of “Neptūnas” on Thursday, after comprehensive medical testing is done. There is a possibility that this weekend he will already make his debut among the ranks of “Neptūnas” during the international Vladas Garastas Cup tournament.

Travis Bader to this day holds NCAA records - most attempted shots and most 3-pointers made.

The new 24yo defender from the team “Neptūnas“ during the four seasons spent in NCAA (2010-2014) played 137 games and hit 504 three-pointers, attempting 1246 three-pointers. His three-point accuracy reached 40,5 percent. These results have not yet been improved in the NCAA. T. Bader finished his last season in the NCAA (2013-2014) sensationally. The student from Oakland University spent 37 minutes in the basketball court and scored about 20.6 pts on average.

He competed in the capable team from Villeurbanne, “ASVEL” in 2014-2015, which participated in the Eurocup competition (9 matches; 14.8 minutes; 4.6 pts.; 11/30 3-pointers).

After leaving the team “ASVEL” in January, Travis continued the season in NBA’s subsidiary NBDL in the team Rio Grande, “Valley Vipers”. Here he remembered what he knows best - to throw 3-pointers (22 games; 29.7 min.; 12.8 pts.; 71/189 3-pointers).
