ALL THE MATCHES OF “NEPTŪNAS” IN THE EUROCUP - VIA LRT TELEVISION
Already in the middle of the month, Klaipėda, “Neptūnas” will start the Eurocup tournament matches versus Istanbul, “Galatasaray”. Good news to basketball fans is that all of the ULEB organization matches of “Neptūnas” are going to be aired by LRT television.
“Neptūnas” is an ambitious team, repeatedly demonstrated that especially at home it can admirably compete against powerful foreign teams. Last year’s international tournaments showed that the players of “Neptūnas” are real fighters. The LRT channel is pleased to be able to air the matches of an ambitious team,” said Ramūnas Grumbinas, LRT Sports Editing Producer.
He also emphasized that in the past year, “Neptūnas” stepped into the ranks of grand Lithuanian basketball teams - Kaunas, “Žalgiris” and Vilnius “Lietuvos rytas”.
It is no longer so that the leaders are from Kaunas or Vilnius; Klaipėda has repeatedly demonstrated that it can throw a serious challenge and equally fight with the above-mentioned teams. Because of that, it is only more interesting to basketball fans,” said R. Grumbinas.
Both home and road game matches of “Neptūnas” of Eurocup tournament will be aired via LRT culture channel.
